MEET NTLALO JORDAN
I am a Johannesburg born chef with a passion for fine cuisine. While I have worked as a Sous Chef at some of the world’s glamorous hotels, I started my fine dining journey in a small township called Langa – a stone’s throw away from the Cape Town CBD.
I have been trained to create delicious gourmet experiences at the International Hotel School and have shared my appreciation for good food with the world. Also, I have had the privilege of taking my knowledge to countries such as Dubai, Liberia and Sudan, while working at hotels such as, Le Franschhoek Hotel, The Taj Hotel and Jumeirah Al Naseem.
I want to share my love for fine dining with people in my own community. Many people here have never stepped out of this province and I want to take them with me on a trip around the world in every course.
It is difficult to live and work in my community and not see our unequal society. Creating a soup kitchen to help those in need of a basic meal would simply be playing my part to help and reach out to my neighbours and friends.
